The scouts and adult volunteers at Troop 149 work to be self-sufficient through our quarterly fundraisers.
The approach works because youth learn important skills while managing a fundraiser and have fun.
Our community supports the troop's work with youth, and enjoys the benefits whether it is picking up trash as we hike, or supporting child education by donating hours to the annual consignment sale, or other ways we contribute.
Our scout's Eagle projects contribute to the community in many different ways. For example, by helping one of our elementary schools upgrade classrooms, or improving outdoor facilities for youth activities at a church, or helping a new city park improve wildlife habitats, to name a few examples.
Thank you for your generous support of our Troop and its mission. We appreciate all you do throughout the year to help us.
